Total Earth Care's (TEC) Archaeology Division offers a wide range of Aboriginal and historic heritage management services including tailored assessment and advice.
We service a range of clients including developers, private land owners and local councils, who typically require archaeological assessment so that they can best manage the Aboriginal or historic heritage of a site in the development process. We have particular expertise in the management of Aboriginal cultural heritage, based on extensive project experience and staff expertise.
Our assessment work combines great experience and skills in field survey techniques with efficient reporting, GIS analysis and understanding of legislative context to provide cost-effective and timely heritage management solutions.
The Archaeology Division frequently works in co-operation with the Environmental Consultancy Division to provide co-ordinated heritage, flora & fauna and bushfire hazard assessments.
We have developed new methodologies in archaeological excavation. These focus on efficiencies gained through the mechanisation of excavation, deposit handling and sieving processes that can increase both the outcomes of archaeological excavation and reduce costs.
